It takes me less than 30 minutes to attain the unmistakable feeling of losing awareness from my whole body. My problem is that after I reach this point where I am alone with my thoughts I lose awareness and I fall asleep or I spend about 1-2 hours in that state without any results, it's not uncomfortable at all just very disappointing.

I've tried counting, visualizing , alphabet, listening to the buzzing in my ears and repeating "I am dreaming" with little or no results.

Any suggestions?
