Meditation/visualization caused my first 2 MILDs- in one night

      Hey all-

Last night, I decided to take a new approach to LDing.

I've been relying on WILD and WILD type methods to LD, with varying success. (FILD, DEILD, etc.)

I decided last night to try a very direct/advanced form of MILD. I put on some ambient music and sat in a meditative position on my bed, breathing deep and trying to become as relaxed as possible.

I then began to use mantras for every aspect of LDing I wanted to achieve that night.

      "I will remember my dreams."

(While saying this, I imagined myself waking up with and writing down a long entry in my dream journal.)

"I will realize I am dreaming, and become lucid."

(Here I imagined realizing I was in a dream, becoming lucid, and all that I would do once I was lucid.)

"I will be aware of waking after every dream."

(I imagined waking up from a dream, being fully aware)

I focused on nothing but the above fairly intensely for a little over 15 minutes.

That night, (last night) I had my first MILD/DILDs. 2 of them in one night- the incredible part was that I did not see dream signs that caused me to realize I was dreaming, I simply realized, "Oh, wait a moment... this is a dream." It was pretty incredible.

I urge my fellow LDers to attempt a session of focused meditation tonight and post what your results were

I meditated before I went to sleep, and immediately went to sleep afterward.
