      What the heck...?

This morning, I woke up at around 8:30 AM. I decided to just go back to sleep instead of attempting to WILD like I had when I went to bed. I rolled a bit onto my back, but I wasn't facing straight up. Suddenly, I felt tense and I heard a slight ringing noise, and my neck felt cold. I was surprised! But, I didn't know if I was paralyzed or not, so I tried rolling over a bit, to the right, and I was able to. Once I rolled over a little bit, I snapped out of it.

I saw things go dark, or 'freeze', and then I was able to completely move again. Was this a dream, or SP? =/
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Probably the first stage of SP ? I don't think its a dream since you managed to roll on the side and snap out of it.

It may have been both. You may have been transitioning into a WILD. Typically, when I get "SP," it's more often the case that I'm dreaming having it. The conscious awareness of the SP occuring for me lasts maybe about 2 or 3 seconds, and it continues in the form of a dream.

My guess is that you tested it by rolling, and you rolled your dream self around, but were actually asleep.
