      Longer Sleep = Deeper Sleep?

I find that when I am setting alarms for WBTB, I don't wake up if they are farther into the morning. If you sleep longer, are your chances of waking up via alarm smaller?

Hmm. I set my alarm for 6 hours after I sleep, and I never recall turning it off. But if I didn't, my family would be up. Quite odd.

Maybe it affects your recall, but i don't know about sound.

I'm not sure you understand what I mean. When I sleep for longer without a wake up, does it put me into a deeper sleep?

I don't believe so. As stated earlier, I think it only affects your recall. You never know when you're going to wake up, and as you get past 6 or so hours, your sleep gets lighter and lighter.
