Do you find that WILDs are easier when you are really tired? Everytime I wake up I feel like I could sit there for 2 hours (i do actually) and not enter deep trance. I am too wide awake. I'm wondering if I was more exhausted if it would be easier? I get plenty of sleep everynight. Should I deprive myself the night before? |

I try counting as some people suggest, but this only seems to keep me awake. |

Experiment with waking up different times, and staying up with different times before going back to sleep. It's not the same for everybody. |

WILD - 2
Last LD - Jan 25th.
I can wake up and try to go right back to sleep and still have a hard time inducing sleep paralysis (yet to succeed). I just stay awake. I'm wondering if i'm not tired enough. For people successful at this... how tired are you usually. How quickly do you fall asleep on a normal basis, etc. Should I try to cut sleep the night before. That's mainly what I'm asking. |

Keep trying is all i can say |

Yes, try experimenting with the amount of sleep you get. If you are planning a WILD weekend, you might want fo cut an hour from each night in preparation. Also, you mentioned that counting keeps you awake. Try daydreaming for a while before you begin the counting. I find it helps my ming prepare for sleep. |

WILD is pretty Tricky. The main point of it is to stay Mind awake while your body falls asleep. But, it's not as easy as it sounds, when I try to stay Mind awake I usually tend to focus on my body, which is totally wrong I guess since I can't seem to fall asleep. So you need something that will get ALL your attention off your body actually. Also, exhausting your body during the day should be a good idea, so you can go workout or do some activity and stuffs and it should improve your chance of WILDing. Why? Because your mind restore itself Waaaay faster than your body so you'll sleep like 4 hours and do a WBTB and you'll be completly Mind awake (if you stay awake 30-60mins) and it'll be way easier to WILD. |

The greater your Shadow becomes~~
