      A general guide to WILD.

General please.. the tutorial was too complex and I find it more perplexing and disruptive of actually trying to WILD with so much irrelevant INFO...
I just tried to wild at 1:20..... I lay there........... flex..... reverse blinking .. which made no difference till 2 40

So could anyone just give me a simple way to WILD?

Try the link in my sig. Skip down to the post on WILD.

In a nutshell, here's the technique I use: when you WILD, be sure you get about 6ish hours of sleep and WBTB. Be up for at least a couple of minutes. Put on a fan or something else with white noise. Relax and keep your attention on the noise. When you start feeling like you're hearing things or "almost" hearing things, keep your attention on that. Do NOT give any attention to your physical body. Periodically try to change the things you are "hearing." Eventually you will either hit SP or begin to see flashes of images, or an image that looks like a tiny picture at the end of a long tunnel. When this happens, keep relaxing and allow the image or SP to take its course without putting too much focus on it. Eventually you should jump right into the dream, and if not, try visualizing yourself standing across the room. Put your hands on the wall or an object to atabilize.

You can pretty much apply that whole process to a nap, yeah.

Naiya, can I just listen to any noise... or even silence itself? Do I have to have HI passive kick in before I can influence how it sounds?

Oh yeah.... reading that whole conglomerate of threads in a thread was very helpful... but since I tend to forget......... can you help see if this works?
      Do daily stuff.....
Morning... lay there think about what you dreamt of etc etc... and of the sort calm your mind.
Daytime... reality check.... yeah... +constant awareness.
Night time... .Today ill sleep at 10 pm... so at 9 40 or so.... I'll clear my head... maybe meditate. or if i want earlier i could go at 9 and read books to relax.
After all of that [Really hurts since you have multiple threads and they more or less cover some lesser aspect of each other... I.E. visualize your dream+wild dream before you go to sleep in meditation... and then lay down and visualize some more) Can I just choose like..... visualize same dream for DILD and WILD? and do both when im trying to clear my mind and then when im laying down chanting and visualizing? But ... the world is subjective so how we all look at this varies...... la la la la la...

Okay.... I will also do the lay there and check for dream recap when I wake up at the middle of the night to try to WBTB... I will NOT do WILD untill I LD successfully .....

And just be consistent and practice doing it... RC... mean it... think of dreams when you're bored.. and yes I am bored to heck that I spent the last hour looking at your thread.. lol

Always be awrare of your surrounding... question it with ernest and RC Believe you CAN....... what you put in words does not matter... it's how you feel when you utter them... so it turns out more or less my mantras lacks grammar... but for decency I added some lol.keep trying... Last night my head hurt so much reading all the stuff going on at DV I even had a dream about KNOWING that im lucid dreaming... which turns out that was a subconcious thought and I was actually playing an online game known as Ludic Dreaming Online... Wow... well.... I'll watch out for your reply and go back to my business and go positive with this lucid dreaming process..........
And wow.... you got LOTS and LOTS of LDs... you're my hero, literally....
Could you give me some tips? at least one will do... that the thread on your sig didn't cover esp about the one dream a night... that's so awesome... maybe an encouraging remark? Lol..

Got inspired and excited by your DJ, esp Pandora.

      Aw thanks Squaddle!

It sounds like you have a good plan so far. You don't NEED to have white noise, it just helps in terms of making it easier for you to have auditory hallucinations. You don't need to stress about having white noise too much because eventually you'll probably be having some kind of hypnogagic hallucinations anyway.

If you have a DJ here, give me a link and I'll read it. Otherwise, I promise if you stick with it long enough you'll be able to LD every night too.
