Why do my vibrations suddenly fade away?

So basically I try to do a technique similar to Yoshi's where i roll over untill i get to SP, then i get vibrations which get stronger for about 5 minutes and then it all calms down. So Get up and do RCs just incase it's a dream but I am not. Any advice?

I'm going to be stalking this thread. Same thing happens to me. It's incredibly depressing and I don't understand why it's not working.

Me too. Im not scared of SP but I cant seem to transition into SP once I feel the vibrations.

As soon as I feel my head being sucked into my pillow, I think "its happening" but every time I try to let my body do the work and let my mind go blank, the vibrations and gravitational force feeling just goes away as if I get too excited and disrupt the process.

Im able to induce this feeling about 5 times, continuously right after the previous failed attempt to enter SP but the feeling keeps going away. After the 5th attempt Im too awake and aware to try again.

I get this problem as well, except I'm too awake after just the first set of vibrations.

I'm thinking that maybe (at least for me) that when the vibrations come that it's actually the transition phase because that's what it feels like when I DEILD. I have no clue how to bypass it though. Don't take my word for it, it's just a possibility I thought of.
      Lolwut.

      Dear folks,

the sensations described here are commonly associated with out of body experiences.
In order to succesfully leave the physical body, one must somehow manage to ignore and not react to these sensations.

Some people don't need SP to do a WILD. I have never felt SP in my life, but I have had some WILDS but I always feel the vibrations. How many times have you felt them?
The more you do it the easier it will become to relax through them, because you will get accustomed to them with time.
For me it's usually like I'm almost asleep and the vibrations wake me up enough to remember my intentions and I transition in a few seconds without me doing anything.
A good thing to remember is the more you obsess over having a WILD the harder it can be.
I did my first WILD when i stopped trying really hard.
      Good luck WILDing!

Do you have research to support that?

We have a forum for that crap.
"I know that I am mortal by nature, and ephemeral; but when I trace at my pleasure the windings to and fro of the heavenly bodies I no longer touch the earth with my feet: I stand in the presence of Zeus himself and take my fill of ambrosia, food of the gods." - Claudius Ptolemy

I usually get vibrations whenever try to WILD, but less that half the time I am successful, but sometimes they are so light that I just think that im still not in SP so i try to wait until they get stronger bu/t the just go.
Do you think that maybe they go because I worry about them going?

Maybe try waiting after the vibrations stop. Chacnes are you will feel them again and that after that you will be in a dream.
