      Question WILD =/= Normal sleep?

I am confused. The WILD tutorials I've read mainly involve relaxing, closing your eyes, and letting the hypnagogic imagery and whatnot flow.

Now, what's the difference between this and the normal way to sleep?
If I go and lie down, relax, formulate a picture in my head and wait, I bet I'll either fall asleep or nothing will happen...

Someone please explain what seperates WILD (the nap version) or even VILD from an ordinary map.

When you wild you keep your mind awake while your body falls asleep,so you are concious when you fall asleep

Oh I see. So when you WILD, you actively try to stay focused on keeping awake, yet comfortable?

You got to keep your mind awake and pay no attention to your body and let it fall asleep

exactly. I've WILD'd before, and it's very different from normal sleep. I was thinking the entire time, untill I fell into an LD.
      I'm back!
