      I will master this WILD

Its been about 2 1/2 years since I have been lucid dreaming on a regular basis. I have been traveling Europe with friends and now am going to uni. About 3 years ago I was using WILD and DEILD on a fairly regular basis and produced about 3 lucid dreams a week. Lately I have been screwing around with them again since I have a stable schedule and want to get serious again. So far no lucid dreams at all but I want to start a post her showing what I am doing and what is working / not working. I hope to post what I am doing and how I am doing it to keep myself motivated and maybe motivate all of you

So far here is what I am doing:

1: I have an alarm that goes off around 4 am and 6 am. It is on super quiet and will only wake me if I am in light REM. If I do not wake up it will snooze itself after 10 min and slowly get louder 10 min later. This way I won't be waken while in deep sleep and I will wake up with enough energy to get out of bed. The other point of this is to train myself to hear the alarm enough so it does not startle me and I can attempt a DEILD once I recognize what the sound it.

2: Once I wake up I go to the bathroom, get some water, lay down, and look at DV on my phone until I am pretty tired (10 min later)

3: At this point I sit with my legs crossed while laying down and let my thoughts flow while keeping a small amount of awareness in the back of my head. I may feel some SP coming but I don't really pay attention to it because I am going to move here pretty soon anyway.

      4. After about 15-20 min I move into my position of comfort and begin the WILD process. I have two methods I use and they depend on how tired I am. The first method is getting to the point of almost falling asleep (the last 5 min or so) and moving my arms but in my head. I will keep doing this until I actually feel them start moving in reality and I know I am in a dream.

The other method is just keeping a small amount of awareness until I "Feel" the shift in my head and get up to do a RC. This one is risky because sometimes I think I feel the shift and I do a RC only to find myself fully awake. Sometimes I wait too long and just fall asleep.

I will start keeping a record tonight and post what exactly I did, what worked and what I did wrong if I fail. Its going to take me at least a month to get back into the flow of things but its going to be incredible. I can't wait to fly around my neighborhood again and explore lands unknown

Anyone can come in, try these methods, and post the results.

Friday, Saturday, and sometimes Thursday I will not be doing this because I am at the clubs parting hardcore It is college after all

sounds great. my only suggestion is focus on why you want to WILD & what you want it to do until your desire creates an emotional response has been by far has produced the best results for me.

When I try and mind muscle it I have experienced great frustration, anxiety & in simple terms failed. Go for the feeling & reason you want to WILD & it will take care of the rest.
Thought plus emotion creates attitude. Attitude plus action creates experience and experience determines reality

I might try this... but I'm really afraid of hearing noises and stuff, even though I know it would all be in my head...

I wouldn't worry about that. You're usually half asleep by the time the weird shit happens and when it does your mind is like "OOOOH pretty colors..." not "OMG schizophrenia!".

Everything you're doing sounds bang on! Especially the alarm, steps 3 & 4, and the other method. Good luck!

I haven't read of that before but it sounds a good approach to try. So far I have been trying to do massive movements such as falling through the bed or flying across the bed. I will try just moving my arms.
My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.
