      My first WILD attempt in a while, looking for feedback

      well, i haen;t ever had a successful WILD, but i wanted to start trying again. i tried last night, going to bed at around 2 am. i know the best way to do WILD is to sleep first, then wake up, but i wanted to try it at the beginning of the sleep cycle. i laid on my back, which is not my usual sleep position. after about half an hour, i started to feel like i was... wobbling inside of my body, like i was turning on an axis back and forth, but my actual body wasn't moving. trying not to get over-excited, i continued to lay there and breathe, and not think about to many things. soon after that, when i really couldnt feel my body anymore, it felt like my bed was pressing extremely hard into my back. it felt weird, like i wasnt laying on it, but it was pushing into me, hard. at this time, i noticed that i started to have random dream-like images and scenes play in my head, but i wasnt conscious of this when they started, so i pulled myself out of them, attempting to not just fall into a regular dream. this happened for what i would gauge about 20 minutes. soon after that, all of this went away, and i was back at baseline, feeling the exact same as i did when i laid down. i gave up then, looked at the clock, and i had been laying there for an hour and a half.

      Is there anything that i did wrong or right in this attempt? i would appreciate any feedback, as im trying to see what will work, and what different aspects of WILD to try. thanks.

      The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
      With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.

      Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
      A thousand pictures fill my head,

      I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
      and yet my limbs seems made of lead.

      Good start, keep trying. When I feel the paralysis coming on I try to float away from myself before I get sucked into a non-lucid dream cycle, but sometimes I lack the control to succeed.
