Wake back to bed, it's a technique used as an aid in lucid dreaming. You sleep for about 4-6 hours wake up, do something for a minute or two like go to the bathroom then go back to bed. You will already be relaxed and skip the initial WILD stages and you will be very close to a REM already. Also, after that amount of sleeping being done during the night, you should have already gone through a few sleep cycles, making your next REM possibly the longest of the night meaning a longer dream. |
