      REM rebound+WILD

if i only got around 5 hours of sleep last night then wont i go into rem rebound and enter rem right after i fall asleep? if so, couldnt i try WILDing right before i go to bed tonight? since its basically like a WBTB, i just never went back to bed

it doesnt quite work like that. If your circadian clock (internal clock) senses that you missed a REM cycle the previous night, It will just sleep harder and extend all currently scheduled REM cycles by a small amount. (these are perfect circumstances, results may vary.) But, your welcome to try WILDing before you go to bed, its just a little harder due to all the stress you've accumulated through out the day. REM sleep is weird... we, as humans, still do not know alot about it.

You'll need less sleep then that. I went 1 hour one night and I'm pretty sure I went into REM very fast. I could tell when I was slipping into a dream. Get a good night's rest tonight though, a better way to do it is to wake up 5 hours after you've fallen asleep. That way you'll be right into a REM cycle and try to wild then after being awake a little bit (like half hour to and hour)
