      Wild?

When I wake up and fall back asleep, I have my most vivid and captivating dreams. All my dreams are lucid, not in the sense I go around shooting fireballs and flying but that I am aware that I am dreaming. I suppose this could be why?

Maybe it's the time you wake up and go back to sleep? It may also be that you're a natural. And what does going around shooting fireballs and flying have to do with anything?

Honestly, there is a big difference between your dream character (the one that you see as yourself but isn't really you; i.e, you're just watching.) knowing they're lucid and you yourself knowing you're lucid.

I've had dreams where the DC that represents me has thought stuff like, "Well I AM dreaming," but I know for a fact upon wakening that I was not truly lucid from previous experience.

I'm not saying you're not right, I'm just saying possible you haven't experienced the real deal yet and are confusing vivid dreams with lucid ones.

EDIT: It's also very possible you're lucid but are not exerting control over your dreams. I'd suggest you check out some stuff on dream control so you can do what you want with your dreams.

I'm pretty sure he is lucid. I think he's asking why he has his most vivid lucids after waking up briefly.

Eh, I read as that he said his lack of control was why he thought his dreams were vivid in the mornings. You gotta take the, "all my dreams are lucid" with a grain of salt, but benefit of the doubt I guess.

And @ OP, yes, you did a WBTB which is considered a WILD. WILDs are regarded by some to be the most vivid type of LD.
