      Smile Peaceful Sleep and Lilium

I sometimes have trouble falling asleep and even though I know lots of ways to relax, sometimes you just want to let go and let someone else guide you to sleep. Like a bed story for grown ups. And my favorite way to relax is to listen to a relaxing and soothing voice.

So I will just share the one I like to listen to the most. (I actually have a speaker built into my pillow, but you can listen however you want.)

And it's the Whisper Videos of Lilium on Youtube! There are tons of videos, but I will just share my favorite: (But make sure to listen to the other videos!)

You might wonder though, why this thread is in the "Attaining Lucidity" section.

And my answer to that is that peaceful sleep is very important and by falling asleep peacefully your dreams will be calm and tranquil and most important of all, easier to become aware of and remember. So perhaps this is a lucid aid, but since I have seen the power of peaceful sleep I would say that it is a method in it's own, simply because all people probably don't go to sleep peacefully.

But this shouldn't be a relaxation, lucid dreaming method this should be common sense! Stephen LaBerge said that the last thing we think about is usually the first thing we think about as we wake up and the general state of mind that we will have through out the night. So now you clearly see the importance of going to sleep peacefully. This can even prevent nightmares!

Anyway I guess that's the reason to why I created this thread, to stress the importance of going to sleep calmly and peacefully.

I hope that you enjoy the Lilium videos though, I kind of fell in love with her voice the first time I heard it.

I wish you all a night of peaceful sleep!

Argh! I try to make an honest observation based on my experience in hope that I can shed some light on something new.
Although it always turns out to be me finding and explaining Dream Yoga in a westernminded way...

This is not the first time this have happened to me --> http://www.dreamviews.com/f15/if-you...ams-try-93005/

I guess the saying "There is nothing new under the sun" really is true. I guess it's ok as long as people can learn or get helped by the posts.

Anyway thanks for making me aware of the Dream Yoga again. And sweet dreams to you!

Hehe no of course not I thank you for making me aware of the fact of what I was describing was Deam Yoga.

It is after all one of the first sources of lucid dreaming there is. And sometimes that it easy to forget.

If I was ironic I would put lots of dots or something after, like for example thanks alot...... + and angry smiley perhaps

      But I wasn't ironic. ^-^
