Thread: Anecdotal evidence in favour of shared dreaming - or something of a similar nature

The following obviously does not present clear evidence of anything beyond random coincidence - it is merely anecdotal evidence, and maybe even weak at that. But I rarely experience anything in my dreams that rattles me, and this did. So, here it goes:

I dreamed that I was standing on a pavement ("sidewalk" for US-centric types) next to my mother. She was very worried about something. Then she started walking away, and I noticed that she had left an open purse/wallet lying on the pavement.

This dream felt disturbing to me, and it was the kind that you can't possibly forget again.

Two days later I talked on the phone with my parents, and they mentioned that my mother had transfered a large sum of money to my sister - but unfortunately she had got the bank account number wrong, so my sister had not received the money. On the night of my dream, my mother had been very worried about that sum of money.

I had no previous knowledge of the transfer, before this phone conversation.

As a final note, all turned out well, the money was recovered.
