Turquoise Dreams

Last couple of days I had this strong feeling that maybe my company would ask me to relocate to Bangalore, India. I'm kinda opened to the idea. I was looking at maps, reading relocating websites and I'm actually excided. It's very unlikely to happen, but it's exciting to think about.

DR -
I just arrived to India. It's lunch time and I sit at the table with about 8-10 spaces. There are only 3 people sitting there, but their office mates are arriving shortly. I'm scooting over to give everybody space. These will be my coworkers. One guy looks like he is the boss and he tells me something about food. I'm disappointed that he doesn't talk to me more about what's gonna happen now.

I eat some soup from small bowl. Then they bring plates of deepfried catfish and corn. Someone puts a big piece on my plate and I feel obliged to eat it all.

While we eat, I watch some girls play on their lunch break. They are dressed in traditional colorful saris. I'm thinking if I should wear stuff like that too.

After lunch we go for a run. Some kind of a team strenghtening excercize. I see from birds-eye view some guys putting bushes in middle of the running path to hide there and scare the new person. I see this girl, face sunburned, as she is saying - "I'm going home. Not staying here". I realize that's me and I'm disappointed in her.
