Interesting case of Dream's over the Year's.

Basically I am a fighter. I pack a really strong punch. However, in my dreams it seems I am complete my lucid when I start to fight. Right after I throw the punch there always seems to be an invisible force field around the person I am hitting. Stopping the punch from hitting them full force. Meaning I throw it then the force field slows down the punch to almost a stand still barely hitting them. I thought of a few reasons: I live by the policy friends don't hit friends then the force field stops me from stricking them, the other option is I am scared I don't hit that hard so my mind actually creates a force field around people before I hit them in my dreams; basically saying you may not hit them hard as you think you do. What does it mean? It has been going on for 10 years now.

I typically feel similar effects when attempt to run in a dream (i will fall forward as if gravity is pulling down really hard on me), or when I have tried to fight, or shoot guns, or throwing things.

If you are experiencing such effects, I would suggest that you are not actually Lucid dreaming, and just dreaming normally. However, I would imagine one could possibly use such effects as a dream indicator, or trigger to allow yourself to become aware that you are in a dream and become lucid

Was just wondering what it could mean. Like dying in a dream might mean you are depressed. However, it usually occurs to me that I am dreaming when I go to hit somebody. I just don't pay to much attention to it so let the lucidness go. Like I said this has been a common dream for me for years. Just was not sure what my brain might be telling me. It even happens when I am lucid dreaming.

Anyway though. Another dream I had a few times since I was little was literally falling from the sky through clouds had always woke up before I hit the ground though. It happened a few birthdays in a row. Weird how our minds fan remember the day it is going to dream this.
