I saw that. It wasn't THAT bad. Just boring.

Then I resaw The Fifth Element after that.

      movies

hmm... last movie I chose to watch (my roommate makes me watch a bunch of crap) was Ocean's 11.. the newer one.. Personally, I like it..

The couple before that which I really enjoyed were Donnie Darko and The Return Of The King.. both AWESOME movies..

Also.. I bought Requiem For A Dream.. which I've heard is really good and can make the least emotional people cry.. I just haven't watched it yet..

Oh and Waking Life was mentioned earlier a few times in this thread.. saw it once.. was blown away by it.. I think it's one of those movies that you need to watch more than once.. atleast I need to.. to really understand it.. and most likely the more you watch the more things you'll notice... kind of like Fight Club
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad

The last movie I saw was Downfall the other week. Probably one of the best war movies I have seen.

I saw Se7en the other day for the second time.

It's completely messed up and disturbing, but probably one of the most intelligent serial killer movies ever made.

And David Fincher (director; Fight Club, Panic Room) is the man.

Last evening they showed The Matrix from TV (yes, the original and the best). It's just great even though I've seen it many times. There's some movies that I never get bored on and that's what separates good movies from great movies in my opinion.

Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom.

Very graphic battle scenes (but what can you expect when swords are involved). At times it was hard to make out what they were saying (either due to the lowness of the voices or the accents involved) but all in all it was pretty good.

I saw Crash the other day...it was ok. It seemed like they were trying to shock everybody with the racially oriented comments made by the characters, as if they were hoping to stir up controversy.

The plot and acting was great though (except for Brendan Fraser, I can't take that guy seriously). I'd give it a B

I had heard a lot about this movie but I hadn't yet seen it so I decided I was going to go out and get myself a copy. I was not disappointed at all with it. I really enjoyed it.

Kung Fu Hustle. If you like martial arts movies, you will highly enjoy Kung Fu Hustle. I found myself actually laughing out loud more than once (it is actually a comedy) and the martial arts performed in this movie are pretty impressive.

My friend and I were watching old horror movies, and this one came first. Worst ending of any movie I've ever seen, but pretty good besides that.

I just watched "Enemy at the Gates" this morning. Very good movie, but I had to chuckle when I saw English actors playing Russians. (I'm allowed to chuckle, now that I'm more informed) I'd recommend this movie to anyone who likes war movies and the sniping "game," as I consider it.
