      Flying

      Hey,

      A few nights ago i had a dream i was flying. In my dream i had these wings on my arms and legs. I guess im super unaware in my dreams cuz that should have sent up red flags like crazy. Anyway, I know i was not lucid. I just figured flying was a normal thing... It was pretty cool looking back on it from waking life. but during the dream i was just frusterated because i couldnt fly as high as i "normaly" do. Which was odd because i didnt remember ever flying before. It was a pretty cool experience. I was just wondering if this means something. Or maybe i just have an overactive imagination. Anyway, jw what you all think about this.

      Sounds to me like something that regularly happens in a dream. A lot of people experience flying so I don't think it means too much. Although your frustration towards not being able to fly as high might be from some past dreams of flying you might have not recalled. This would explain why it felt ab normal. Or it could have just been part of the plot of them dream.

      But again you should probably ask the people in the dream interpretation section.

      Sorry for the non informatiive answer, I'm not a huge brainiac when it comes to interpretation. Hope this clears a few things up anyways!

      Your not the only one who is super unaware in dreams. Pretty much everyone is like that unfortunatly. There are no red flags unless you prepare them beforehand. So you weren't lucid but hey, you got to fly which is so much fun! I think you should try learning to lucid dream and maby you will have really good dream control. There is no such thing as an overactive imagination. Why has society tried to make imagination a bad thing?

      Hi there my friend,

      Welcome to DV. It's very natural for a person to have no awareness that he is dreaming. Even if everything is all crazy and weird. It would help if you improve your dream recall because it's one of the most basic foundations of Lucid Dreaming. Try reading the official Dream Recall Tutorial to know more info in increasing dream recall. I also recommend you to get yourself a Dream Journal to aid you in increasing your dream recall. And lastly, you failed to be aware even though everything's all weird and stuff, So I strongly recommend you read Puffin's SAT Tutorial in order for you to improve your awareness in your surroundings.

      All you need is patience and confidence. Just keep practicing and you'll get used to it in no time. If you've got questions, feel free to ask. Hope this helps
