Hi,
Instead of sharing a story about dream objects that come to life, if you don’t mind I thought I would try out a few ideas on the meaning of the examples you’ve given because they seem to be very closely connected and important in some way.
For example, “going to the bathroom” and “poop” are connected to the digestive process as a whole, and the latter can be seen as a kind of metaphor that’s related to the ongoing, repetitive nature of how we grow and develop as a person. This theme often appears in dreams.
For instance, on analogy, “foreign material” is broken down and its “nutrients” are absorbed.
That is, new insights etc. are “digested” and integrated into the person’s overall awareness.
Perhaps for whatever reason there could be a certain reluctance on your part at times to “absorb” some insights that might be presented to you in some way as shown by how you handle the drumstick.
Of course, the drumstick is from a “bird” which in turn usually symbolizes a “messenger” from the unconscious in the form of intuitions, vague feelings, strong emotions, spontaneous thoughts and fantasies etc.
But you “forget” about your urge to “go” and instead of eating the drumstick (to absorb its “nutrition” of understanding), hurl it at the mirror to break it as well as potentially the mirror itself.
The latter could also be connected to “reflection” and “thought” which you want to “break” from in some way. The mirror doesn’t seem very happy with this attitude.
Also on analogy, dreams of vomiting or not being able to swallow are related to not being able to handle new realizations and certain upsetting realities etc. although this doesn’t appear in these dreams.
“Poop” can symbolize, for instance, the “disgusting” results of having to “absorb” and “digest” various realities regarding our own personalities and those of others.
The “by-products” of this process include such things as anger, resentment, jealousies and grudges which have to be “gotten rid of”.
Similarly, giving up control, pride or fear is equally part of the “elimination” that is vital.
Giving all of this up in the end product, feces, is therefore a sign in a way of the great value of the process overall which has led to new understanding and maturity even though part of the process is indeed very “smelly” and “disgusting”.
This idea is seen in folk tales etc. and spontaneously in many dreams where “poop” changes in a miraculous way to gold or something else very valuable.
Also, many young children conceive theories about childbirth being related to feces and therefore see their own excrement as proof of their own creative magic.
In your dream, the poop creature “brings to life” the horse which is an important symbol of potential energy and development over time if able to be channelled in a generally controlled way.
Similarly, the native Indian symbolizes an earthy connection to life-giving instincts.
In your other dream, you drop into the toilet what turns out to be two pieces of poop shaped like dolphins and they begin to swim around.
That is, they “come alive” when “expressed” and get in touch with emotions (the water in the toilet).
The unusual nature of the image of the dolphins and the images of your other dream (such as the poop creature, the toy horse that comes to life and the native Indian) show that they come from the deepest layers of your unconscious mind and therefore are trying to get across an important point.
All such symbols tend to be very complex and contradictory in nature, but some ideas linked to the dolphin include the fact that the Greek for dolphin is “delphis”, similar to “delphys” which means womb.
Therefore the word “delphys” moves us away from the other symbolic connections to dolphins that are more masculine (e.g. the God Apollo was also related to the images of dolphins) to the more feminine connections.
In your dream, there are two dolphins, perhaps symbolizing the coming together of “opposites” such as the so-called “feminine” and “masculine” parts of yourself, a feeling-life along with an intellectual side for example.
The feminine connections with a dolphin include the Greek goddess Demeter who had the dolphin as one of her symbols (likely because of the womb idea).
She was a goddess representing Mother Earth, wheat, growth, seasons, and birth among other things. Demeter became “Ceres” among the Romans.
In England, dolphins are connected with the sea and with wells, that is, with the “deeply feminine”.
So the overall idea that maybe can be linked with the dolphins in your dream is perhaps the need to accept a kind of mother-like supportive feeling and effect that can come from deep within instead of just relying, say, on thinking and the intellect if they’re too devoid of emotion and instinct.
Uniting the two sides, feeling and the intellect, can help get a person through any hard times, for instance, more effectively than relying on just one or the other.
Anyway, these are just some ideas which I hope you might find interesting in connection with these particular dreams.
