      brand new oneironaught

      Hello,

I was introduced to lucid dreaming by a youtube comment in which someone said they didn't want to have to give up lucid dreaming. I was immediately intrigued.

I've read Lucid Dreaming: A Gateway to the Inner Self by Robert Waggoner and am now working on ETWOLD by Steven LeBerge.

I've only had 2 lucid dreams over the past couple of years (one DILD and one WILD). Besides for much of the incredible traumas and stresses I've had to endure over that time, much of my lack of success has been my unwillingness to practice good dream recall and journaling (I suspect).

I plan to change that as much has changed in my life. I have a lot of ideas about how to use LD to enrich my waking life in addition to just having fun.

Welcome to DreamViews doleo! Two very good books if I say so myself. ETWOLD is definitely a classic, and it was the first book I read on Lucid Dreaming haha. Look forward to getting lucid A LOT more frequently if you put in the work. Stick with it this time man because let me tell you, it's completely worth it. As for your two ideas as to how to use Lucid Dreaming, it'll more than cover enriching your waking life and having fun.

If you're still want to read more on Lucid Dreaming and further advance your knowledge on it, check out Dreams Of Awakening by Charlie Morley.

      See you around man.

      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

Thanks for the welcoming reply. And thanks for the book recommendation. I've been wanting to get another book about LD that I could just 'read' as I'm trying to take in ETWOLD slowly so I can practice the exercises. So I'm gonna stick with the basic exercises in chapter one until I've really got it down.

I started reading it today and I'm diggin' it. It's already started referring to things I was talking about 'enriching my waking life'. I really want to practice/rehearse/learn things with lucid dreaming.

Nice bro. I personally like the book alot more than ETWOLD just because it seems to have a more open view on Lucid Dreaming in my opinion and it covers a lot of different things that ETWOLD didn't. If you're aiming to learn/practice/rehearse thing in lucids then that book will definitely help you out as it teaches you how to blur boundaries and "go beyond lucidity".

I wish you the best on your journey doleo.
