Hi i,m Amanda, mother of 3 beautiful children. I have had beyond weird dreams since i was a child. Some dreams from a young age have been more horrific than any horror movie made, not nice! I do Lucid dream but it cant be just dreaming if u can dream of the future. I have had many dreams of future events that actually happen usually the next day! I have predicted the sex of my friends babys every time through seeing it in my dream, I have dreamt of people in accidents and they have happened eg : I dreamed of my male friend who was a chef and keen surfer. I dreamt he was surfing when a big wave took him under, his arm came up out of the water and there were flames engulfing the arm! I actually told his girlfriend my weird dream the next morning. That day he was cheffing in the hotel and he was lighting the gas grill when the flames shot out and burned all the hairs on his arm, He went out surfing later that day and nearly died when he got caught in a tumblewave at the bottom for nearly 2 minutes.... I have had lots of dreams like this and am really looking for some advice on how to control them and use them to thier full potential.. |

You're lucky to have such meaningful dreams. Like you, I believe our dreams hold much more meaning most people give them credit for. I've had a few dreams that have come true, although not lately. I also get that Deja Vu feeling all the time. Sometimes I can remember the exact dream where I experienced the event. |

If I was to have such dreams like you are having, I wouldn't try to dream lucidly. Maybe it would cause an otherwhise predictive dream to be a lucid dream about something completely different. |

i get that too, but not every aspect of my dream is like that. my mind makes up very unrealistic situations. i get surprised that i don't notice mid-dream, but when i'm dreaming, i find i am focused on whatever i'm dreaming about. sometimes my dreams are a bit off compared to reality, mostly because of the unrealism. |

I came back to this website because last week I had a vivid dream (meaning great recall), that a woman stabbed me in my right side with thumb tacks. When I woke up, I got dressed to check the mail as I was expecting a cheque. I stepped out onto my front step and stepped on a screw that went into my foot. The last time it happened was on January 14, 2009. I dreamed my partner went back to Ireland (she had bad memories she didn't want to face, so she never planned to ever go back). Five days later she was killed by by a drunk driver, and seven days later her body arrived in Ireland for her burial. She left Ireland (at the time), 19 years ago and had never been back since. |

I am Brandie.....I can relate to your post.....I am on here for the same issues...besides your particular dream. I am a mother of 3 and two of which are having some of the same things....I had accepted it and their questions actually made me stop to think that there might be a way to control them. Just haven't found the right people yet. However...I am glad i know i am not alone now. |

My dad died in October, a few months later I had a dream, he appeared and said 'whats happening to all the money and the house' I got worried thinking that I had his money and sold his house whilst he was alive, then remembered he was dead, and said hold on Dad, your dead, I have your death certificate - that was it, bit of a relief. |
