      Ambient Soundtrack

Just a little something I made in FL Studio, for something meditative and calm.

Hmmmm, need the beats to start droppin' at around 1:30

Nah, it's good. I'd add in some gaps in the main melody and have some natural sounding noises with the softer synth thing.
Keep it up though. I could never get anything decent out of those music programs.

It seemed good at first but it just kept repeating, didn't go anywhere new. It was a great part of a song but it felt like it shouldn't have been the entire thing. That one tone that remained constant throughout started getting a bit annoying.

I was kind of thinking that, which is why I didn't make it too long, because I wasn't sure what else to do with it. But meditation type music is repetitive like that anyway... right?

      Thanks for the feedback, guys!

Like the track Like the big open sounds you've gone for. Think maybe something more on the low end and more space in the track is a good trick, especially using the roll offs from the sounds your using, upping the decay and such. think with time and practice tho

Make Ambient downtempo myself actually soundclouds below, check it out

This track needs work but has potential. If I could offer some tips, instead of using repetitive synth tone in the background, try using a "synth pad". It will sound much better. Evolving synth pads are what give that "dreamy, meditative" background feel. There should be stock synth pad sounds in Fl Studio

It also sounds good to play chords in the background for synth pads. If you need help with chords and stuff I can help you, just PM me.
