Lightbulb Wanna help me write a script?

Hello everyone! I am currently writing a movie script about lucid dreaming and dream control, and I need YOUR help. The scene I'm working on involves the main character, Terrance, exploring this site and learning about LD and DC. He's decided to post on the forums and ask for help. Here's what's going to go down: I'm going to post what HE would post, and I want you to all to comment exactly what you would say to a real person asking his questions. I won't be quoting anyone exactly, so there's no need to worry about grammar and such. I just need inspiration. I tried writing the responses myself, but I can't really offer "him" advice, as I myself am a natural LD and have been since childhood. Basically, I can't teach something I don't actually do. I don't know what techniques work because I've never done them. And don't worry, he won't actually be following anyone's advice anyway. A big plot twist will come along and stop him from trying anything. It's ok for what you say to be a little bogus or uncertain. :) Thank you all in advance for your help. I'll post his post in a moment, and I'll be checking these responses throughout the next few days. I can't wait to read what you post (and neither can Terrance ;) ).

PS: Unless stated otherwise, from now on, all of my posts on this will be from Terrance.

I was told that maybe you all could help me. I don’t want to post more about my personal life than I have to, so let me know if you need me to clarify anything. Basically, I’ve been having reoccurring nightmares for just over a year. They began when someone I cared for died. Before then, I’d never been able to remember my dreams. Now I just have this one, over and over, of the moment when I heard the news that they had died. It’s gotten so bad that I’ve been waking myself up multiple times a night, every night, to stop the dream. I’ve also been seeing a therapist for the past 7 months. He is the one who recommended I come here. He’s worried because I haven’t been sleeping. My record has been 6 days without sleep. As I type this, I’m on day 4. I just want it to stop. He recommended I try Lucid Dreaming and that I learn how to Dream Control. I’ve been reading all over the site and I think I have the gist of what they are, but the techniques all seem difficult or time consuming. I want it to stop now. Is there anyone who can help me, please?

You can transform your nightmares into a lucid dream by recognizing that fear you have in your nightmares. That helped me.

Ten Top Tips for Lucid Dreaming:

      1:Go to bed early

      2:Stay in bed late

3:Don't use electronics (or anything with a screen on it) before bed

4:Drink plenty of water before bed

5:Getting lots of exercise helps you sleep better

6:WILDs are for advanced dreamers only

7:Having trouble with dream recall or stability? Meditate

8:Vitamin B6 creates vivid, lucid dreams

      9:EILD devices don't work

10:You will wake up if you try to have sex with a DC

Good luck with your script. There really aren't a lot of good lucid dreaming movies out there.
