      Do you have a tutorial on these or anything? All I can do is make it with Image Ready, but that's tedious, and every time i forget how to export it as a gif, lol, then I end up exporting as a quicktime and converting it

      I use ImageReady, too. I don't think it's all that bad, and it gives you a lot of editing options.

      Basically what I do is cut the clip with VirtualDub and go to ImageReady then "Imput Folder As Frames" and IR pretty much does the rest. After that, I can crop it or make it smaller. Then, "Save Optimized As..." and it automatically saves it as an animated .gif. Only takes a couple of minutes to make one.

      Cool, thanks. BTW, checked back with more files on media convert, and it doesn't ruin the GIF, actually pretty good quality, just upload any of the countless available filetypes and select the output as an animated gif, you shouldn't have trouble with media convert not being able to read the ideofile, lol. http://media-convert.com/
      Media convert can read:

      3G2 3GP AMV ASF AVI DPG DV FLI FLV GIF GVI MKV MOV MP4 MPG NSV OGG OGM RM RPL
      SWF VOB WMV

      and convert it to any of those.

      I was actually checking out the scene a few weeks ago, to see what I could do, but I didn't really find anything in it that would make an awesome .gif. I might give it another look in a little while.

      In the meantime, though, here's another thread closer. Don't know wtf happened to the quality, but I got tired of screwing with it.
