Ninja's Short Story Contest Submission

Here's my story about death.

I stamped the copyright because I plan to submit it to Skive later on too. I'm piggybacking it on my school's tae kwon do club's website so it will only be there until I give control of it to someone else (end of the semester.) Let me know what you think, I hope you like it.

God I'm such a newb.

Is this the same as Idenity's contest? The first post says that it ended on the 15th... which contest is this? Could someone link me?

And also, can we use things that we had written long before we heard of the contest?

Just saw the post. I understand now it was the 15th of March.

I think my story fits. I'll post it tonight.

Oh, and I found it impolite to reply here without giving an opinion.

The foreshadowing in this story is what made it for me. I thought the "Do it" was going to be her thoughts of jumping, and at the end she would throw the phone over o0 but apparently not.

As LS said, its not quite my type of story, but I can still appreciate it.

Aah! Early entries! I've still only got that one paragraph! Have to start writing it this evening... still two weeks left. Oh, and I'll read these two submissions soon, I'll comment then!

On the 15th I'll set up a "meta-"thread with all the existing submissions and a place to submit the new ones if you don't fancy new threads.

Ninja: I can put it up on my own webspace, if you like.

When you get that "meta-thread" up, let me know and I can merge these early submissions into it. If we can all get links to it (rather than spoilers... not hard to fix), we can put them all into one "critique" thread to try and cut back on the amount of space used here. Just an idea.
