But, make sure the background stays blue, seeing as that represeents DV. But yea, the letters could be changed like that.

I will also resize them to icon size. Much like the the size of this smile face -->
We could then fit several underneath the avatar.

Agreed, the deano shields are the way to go~

I like most of what Ames suggested, though if we're making them for specific courses should it then be:

101 or LD101 or INTRO(depending on what fits? only because the I doesn't really represent much and an 01 could fit behind it)
DJ
DILD
SoS
SP
WILD
DC (dream control, not dream character)
AIDS (lmao)
Dream Theories could be DT, or Philosophy of Dreams PoD (though I'm having doubts now that this class will ever get off the ground)

Or, how would it look with a little symbol, if one could be thought up? I'm thinking more of the supplements class. I guess SUPP could work too but it seems wrong to have an AIDS badge lol

So then do you guys like the idea of these badges being given for people who pass respective classes, then we wouldn't need special ones for the profile, and then we could use the other icons just to designate professors and current students?

Something similar this perhaps? This is for supplements


I think that they should only receive the badge once they have passed the course.

Yeah, one is more than twice the size of the other, but obviously they're going to be resized to a fraction of the original size if they are used. I gotta say I really like the 'fabric' look to them. I might add some lettering to them myself. The sheild is an airborne patch, and the 'cross' is a fire fighter's patch.

Anyone else have a creative idea?

I like the DV icon the way it is. I would miss it if it were to be changed.

Anyway, I was thinking, for a banner/advert thing it could be like a picture of the front of a school, like the entrance sort of bit. That could be used somehow. It is hard to find a good picture though.

Like for example this picture.

But yea, use something like that, then add something DV-like to it. Like add a moon, maybe make the picture more blue, add the text in, whatever.

I gave it a shot to show you what I mean.


It maybe could have been a bit more blue to make the contrast between the text and the picture better, but I'm just doing it to show you what I was talking about.

Yea shift, i really like the icons, especially the ones on the left, both sides. they're more bold and darker. and slash i also really like the banner, maybe less bright and more blue and it would look great!

Yea, the ones on the left both sides(1 and 4) are best.

And actually, yea, Ill try lowering the light in the background(very slightly) and make it more blue. Just to see what it looks like.

I don't know if I went overboard with the blur or not.

And again, maybe it would be better for someone to take the concept of it and do it?

I also feel there is something missing. Like a slogan or something. It seems quite empty, or something just isn't right.
