      Tell me about being a waiter

      This is stupid but oh well. I have been working as a waiter for almost a year now and am seeking advice from waiters, former-waiters, or anyone.

      I tend to be a very quiet, reserved person most of the time (depends on the company). I realize that my personality seems to being contrary to my profession but I get the opportunity to make mucho dinero so I have stuck around.

      I have problems with talking to pretty girls (especially parties of pretty girls) I only ever stutter when talking to pretty girls. I do not have a history of speech impediments, it only happens with particular girls. Fortunately I think most of the time, they just laugh and think it is cute while I walk away mortified.

      For the most part I think I'm a good waiter but I cannot seem to prevent the stuttering (I know the trigger [attractive women] but I still cannot seem to stop it). Any advice?

      Thanks for the advice Carousoul (although I'm almost certain you are just fucking with me) I highly doubt I will try this, I don't even come to work stoned let alone drunk....

      He is correct. And, as far as my knowledge of the food service industry goes, they all seem to be quite fond of alcohol anyway.
      During work and after.
      So it wouldn't be out of place. One or two standard drinks should do it.
