I would look into what kinds of scholarships are offered by the schools you're applying to. Also federal aid. If I'm not mistaken, 2000 isn't a very high SAT score, so I doubt there are any big national scholarships you would qualify for unless you really exceeded that. I got a 2220 and that still only put me in the 90th or 91st percentile, or around there. I didn't qualify for any scholarships at the schools I applied to either, but my GPA was like a 2.1. If you want to get a higher score on the SATs, find practice SATs and do them. Do lots of them. Lots and lots of them.

@FriendlyFace - Actually, a 2000 is quite high. You do realize that being in the 90th percentile means you did better than 90% of the people who took the test, right? So that's very good. The national average last year was a little under 1500, I think.

@brianaoa - As FriendlyFace suggested, it's a good idea to take a lot of practice SAT tests. A major part of preparing for the test is being familiar with the structure of it. And if you don't do well the first time, you're allowed to take it again. In addition, if you don't get an amazing SAT score it's not the end of the world. Although having a high SAT score does help, a lot of other factors go into a college's decision to accept you or not. And yes, I think you being an accomplished musician might also help you get into college ... although if you don't plan to study music in college at all, I'm not entirely sure. But it wouldn't hurt to mention it. As for scholarships, I don't know any SAT-score-related ones off the top of my head, but you might want to check out sites like Fastweb and Zinch, which have scholarship listings. Hope that helps!
