      Why is this?

Burns could tell you for hours probably on why this is a silly view.

I'm a decent person and I'm usually (99% of the time) against prejudice, but living where I live, I can't help but have a nagging doubt about black people in my area. Black people internationally I'm Ok with, but black people locally I really really hate. Black people living near me (I know I'm generalising here, but bear with me) are total bastards. A white person can't walk through an area near my housing estate without being asked "what I'm doing here" or making eye contact with some black kid without someone starting a fight. Racial tension in communities like mine annoys me more than anything else.

Why should skin colour affect how we treat each other? People having different races is simply the result of evolution. Why should anyone treat anyone else differently because of the location their family has lived in for the last 1000 generations? It just doesn't make sense and pisses me off to no end. Why should I have to avoid making eye contact with any black people in my area just because I'm white?

Adopted Megabenman although he disappeared a while ago.

Silly, no actually it causes numerous health problems. Conventional veterinary medicine touts the idea that it reduces mammary tumors and eliminates testicular cancer (yeah guess so if the balls aren't there anymore). In fact, both procedures increase the overall risk of cancer among endocrine disorders. Most pets loose significant muscle mass and tone, they also loose a lot of their drive for work (or play in pets).

If done before maturity (and most of the time it is) it affects their growth and contributes to bad stifles and hip displacia (because certain bones grown longer than normal altering the gait.) It also GREATLY increases the risk of bone cancer in large breed dogs. It also increases the likelihood (the earlier done the worse) of hyper-sexual behaviors. Yep you read it right, HYPER-SEXUAL behavior...esp in females. Not only that but aggression problems as well as incontinence and submissive urination.

Just like us, their bodies are designed to function properly with their natural sex hormones even before puberty. Just like women who have had ovarie-hysterectomies (sp?) our pets suffer as well. If you must have your pet neutered to control mating and other bad behaviors then you really shouldn't have one. You are responsible for everything it does including mating, biting, barking, marking etc. Nothing beats training, excersize and supervision for behavioral problems. I'm sure this will fall somewhere outside of narrow minds oh well...its just what I have learned from being a pet care professiona, research and from my own canine friends anyway.

:bravo: You took the words right out of my mouth! Ironicly, my ancestors were likely more abused than their ancestors...at least they were fed, clothed and housed so they could be productive, Irish immigrants were used and abused then easily replaced my newcomers when they died, gave up whatever. Regardless, this is now slavery and segregation is abolished so why can't there just be peace?

I realise I've not done much in the way of giving my own controversial views,
but I just wanted to say that I think this thread is really cool.

I don't know about the U.S. and the rest of the Western world but in the U.K. political correctness is suffocating!
It's taken two years of me living outside the country to realise how bad it is.
      People are so damned brainwashed.

I believe it is falsehood and sentimentality grown to tyrranical proportions.
I HATE political correctness - especially the kind that attempts to mis-interpret or change history.

It's nice to be able to see what people really think for once without fear that someone is going to jump on their case and call them a racist or a bigot or something else.

      Down with P.C.ness!!!

      Up with controversial views!!!

My most controversial views I have posted on this site have been my support for the war in Iraq, my lack of belief in God, and the fact that I don't think Bush is incorrect and acting with pure evil 100% of the time. Another controversial view I have, which has not been controversial here, is that I think all drugs should be legal. I also think my national anthem sounds like shit and that stadiums full of people singing it are annoying. I refuse to join in when people are singing it, and I refuse to say the Pledge of Allegience because I don't talk to flags like they are gods. I don't even talk to flags at all.

I share those views as well. The war is being fought for a very good reason, and that reason is neither oil nor a p!ssing contest.

...I don't even talk to flags at all.
I had the most interesting conversation with a flag at last night's tea party...

I also feel that Hilary, Obama, or any other crazy Liberal Democrat has no place making decisions that affect our country or the way we related to other nations: Period.

And, I also completely share Alban's detest for political correctness. PC be damned. It truly is the single most dangerous movement the modern world faces and most people in the world don't even realise it.

I agree with all of this 100%, except that all drugs should be legal. Crack, meth, and heroin are just about the only ones that should stay illegal. Two drugs that should become illegal are oxycodone and oxymorphone. Believe me I've tried all these, and they can be fun, but most people just cant do them responsibly or without getting addicted. Lost a lot friends that were good people to these drugs. But all your other views are dead on sounding like me, kinda funny.

Okay, what is the point of having drugs legal if there is no mankind.

I think that mankind in general needs to start controlling the population now.
It is a scientific fact that we are running out of resources. We are developing land at such a fast rate that there is so little untouched wildlife. Why is the human animal so special that we should take over the entier earth. We should be ashamed of ourselves for having already put so many animals into extinction.

If every woman is strickly forbidden from having more than two children then we could keep the population from growing before it gets completely out of control. All it would take would be getting thier tubes tied after their second birth.

I further beleive that if for some reason a couple is unable to concieve they should go the route of adoption. There are so many children out there that need a good home so why go the route of fertility medicine? Similarly, if you feel strongly that you want a large family than you should adopt children in need rather than spit out more and more kids.

There are two ways I can make my way of thought the only way of thought.

      1. Dominate the earth and grow the people's minds in the shape I want.

      2. Kill everyone else.

      #2 is the backup plan.

BTW Universal Mind, I feel the same way. Except, of course what you said about our national anthem.

People just don't get Bush. They don't seem to look at the big picture and toward the future. His decisions aren't all bad.
