They have this thing in schools called "status" or "popularity". Okay fair enough it exists everywhere to some degree but they actually talk about it, as if it's set in stone. It's as cheesy as trying to fit in at a new school and asking your mate, "Are we friends yet?".

Well, you are right I should have left that word out. it would have been more accurate and polite to say something like "She reacted rudely in her discussion." My apologies. But she did assume a lot about me that was way off base and meant to insult, which is rude.

I know a lot of very smart Americans who are incredibly nice as well. Unfortunately they'll never be famous. Dumb people get famous.

Yes most of the 'smart" people in America are "imported".

Why? A lot of kids don't care for education, not as much as other countries anyway.

I don't know, Mark twain was pretty smart, and John Steinbeck and Jack London, too. Apart from literature, Martin Luther King Jr was pretty smart, and so was Henry David Thoreau. Apart from activists, We've had smart generals, some guy that invented peanut butter, some other smart dudes as well.

Our engineers suck a little bit and our cosmologists are all imported but hey, cosmology is likely crap anyway and Einstein wasn't even happy with his own theory yet it's considered Godly right now.

Americans are diverse from racists in the south to meth addicts in the northwest. We drive cars that are much to big (gm hummers) and kill people as they come out of church with an interesting history (new life church in colorado springs) and few of us speak two languages. Most people here are fairly stupid also, its quite sad actually.

America is exactly like the U.K except for a few cultural diffrences, and america has alot of fast food restrants, but I hear the rest of the world is catching up on that. I wouldn't say I'm the general american, nor would I say the general american is anything diffrent from a general person from other nations as developed, and not religiously out of control or anything.

Although a lot of stuff you said applies to a lot of people, but not all of them. Maybe the majority...but not all. Just keep that in mind all.
