Hello. I am doing a personal survey. I want to know how happy you consider yourself, what was the last thing that made you unhappy, and I want to know what culture you associate yourself with. I'll break it down.

Happiness Chart

I consider "being unhappy" anything where you are not happy for more than a minute. If you can pull yourself back onto your feet within about that time, it doesn't count as being unhappy.

10 - I have not been unhappy even once in the past 5 years.
9 - I have not been unhappy in the past year.
8 - I have not been unhappy in the last 6 months.
7 - I have not been unhappy in the last month.
6 - I have not been unhappy in the last week.
5 - I have not been unhappy in the last three days.
4 - I have not been unhappy all day.
3 - I have not been unhappy past 12 hours.
2- I have not been unhappy past 6 hours.
1 - I have not been unhappy past 3 hours.

Culture Chart

I realizes there are infinitely more cultures than I can write down here, but I'm going to group you into two main ones. Seeing as we are all on the internet here, and presumably from somewhere in the Western World, it should fit most of us. They are, basically, exact opposites in terms of interests. Also, nobody is the same. We are all unique, and there will be people with traits from both of these. Just pick which one you feel like you lean more towards.

Light Culture - Bright colors, the Sun, Summer, Christmas, warmth. Might be considered "prep", but without any of the negative connotations you've applied to the word.

Dark Culture - Dark colors, the Rain, Winter, Halloween, cold. Might be considered "goth", but without any of the negative connotations you've applied to the word.

Last thing that made me unhappy...... uhhmm....
Was trying to get the somewhat synthetic hair to melt into a dread lock, but it didn't work because it wasn't fully sythetic. So .... yeah. Instead of taking less than 10 minutes per dread. It took an hour to do only 2 dreads.

I'm having trouble defining "unhappy," but I presume at some point yesterday realizing the difficulty of finding a decent apartment with my current funds, I experienced some degree of unhappiness. I'm not sure frequency of unhappiness is a great measure of happiness--while I experience ups and downs of mood and circumstance, there's also an unassailable core complacency that serves as an on-demand conduit of universal love, and I'd think it counts for something.

1. I can always find something that makes me unhappy. Lots of things make me unhappy. Lots of things make me happy. But the unhappiness isn't usually very strong. Just a thought, usually, such as "I can't believe I have to work 'till 9 tonight," or "Darn! Someone left trash on the nature trail! Why can't people be less thoughtless?" But I am aware of these feelings. I don't try to hide them, or repress them. I deal with them as they come, think them through until they are done. I do the same with happiness. I try to be fully conscious of my feelings, as another pathway to waking and dreaming lucidly.

As for culture, I don't know. I don't particularly like the sun, what with a disposition towards skin cancer (though I don't sunburn). I really like the rain. I find more purity and goodness in rain than in sun, because rain is action; the sun is passive. But more often than not, I am an optimist. I'm outgoing when needed, reserved when not. I'd like to think I'm good at acting. Still, it's all an act. I act just as much in public as I do typing right now. Inside, I'm a wanderer, and always will be. I am fluid, evolving. I enjoy acting. I act to play advocate. The opposing side. That's why my arguments sometimes flip in discussion. I find it's a great way to learn more about who you are talking with.

Anyway, this post is way too long, and sloppy, and I know that. It probably isn't an answer you are looking for, either~

I'm conflicted.
I can't decide between Light and Dark culture. I like all aspects of both sides, pretty much equally.
Can I be neutral culture?

Oh yeah, Happiness 10. I have my down moments but I don't like to wallow.

this is the biggest load of bull shit: culture dark or light??!! this is a fucking joke. If I had to place our current state of the world from 1-10 on how fucked we are, I would have to go with 11. The happiness level cannot be defined, because you are neither, or both just as much equally. omg, I cannot believe this thread was made. talk about a load of shit

This is stupid, you can't put a complex thing into two options and say here. Firstly, most people are not black and white and happiness and depression is relative to the person.

i'm not going by little things that make me unhappy such as my sister annoying me or something like that. So I'd say I'm an 8

and in between dark and light culture
I like both...

(btw dilanshmai... just by reading a few of your posts here and there I can already tell that I dont like u. Just cause this is the internet doesn't give you an excuse to be an ass. just sayin...)
