Thread: Tell me about cold sores.

I thought pretty much everyone has the virus for cold sores. Didn't know it was connected to herpes. Aren't people innoculated against herpes though?

My youngest son gets cold sores a couple/few times a year and his are always pretty severe. He started getting them when he was still in diapers and he's the only one in the family that gets them regularly.
My oldest boy gets something that looks like a cold sore but I think it's always been sun poisoning.

When I got canker sores as a kid my family would either say: "Stop kissing boys" or "you got it from telling lies" lol
It's in no way true, lol, but I joke with my kids about it too now-a-days.
