Unable to create anything...:(

Hi, I am able to have lucid dreams at will now but I am unable to 'create' things that are unreal like for example if I wanted someone or something in the lucid dream to appear. I did think of 'special' ways to conjure up almost anything but I never remember to do them in the dream or that it dosen't work. I think it has to do with the way my mind works, it's too dependant on things that already exist in reality as I rely alot on physical things/items to have my lucid dreams. How do you overcome this problem? IMJ
