Just curious, what is your favorite and most effective relaxation tech when first going to bed? I'm asking specifically because when I try to relax I usually don't fall asleep for hours. My mind tends to be everywhere. This makes dreaming difficult, because I end up having to get up in the morning in the middle of a dream and go to class. |

MY BIGGEST OBSTACLE: falling asleep
Personally, I go with doing some meditation before bed. It really isn't much different than what PR0G4P4RV18 suggests, only I don't do the relaxation technique. I never seem to need it. If I do want to relax my muscles, I just go with major muscle groups instead of trying to remember 61 points. That is, I go with relaxing the face, then shoulders, arms, etc. |

Watching a video while falling asleep with the volume down helps me, personally. |
