      2nd "lucid" dream....

I was just running down a familiar city street, I became aware I was dreaming when I noted just a general feeling of emptiness. No people were out and it was a gray day (kind of depressing :p) Anyway my first though was stabliziation. I rubbed my hands together and the blackness that had been creeping up on me faded and I took a step forward. Well the dream ended, but I don't remember waking up, so my question is...Does rubbing your hands together really work? Was I just unlucky?

Congrats on your 2nd lucid! The more lucids, the better. Keep that in mind because is not a myth. The more lucid dreams you have, the more you will get! Keep focused on that and stay positive. They will come to you!

I only tried rubbing my hands once, and it screwed up my dreams.

I like to look around and move fast my head. I do not like spinning because it might trigger a teleport, but moving my head fast and looking around keeps me within the dream. That is because you move your eyes in the dream so your physical eyes will keep moving and REM might last longer.
Click the door... and welcome to my dream world!
