      Exclamation WBTB method -- 7 Day test !

      Hi all,

      I have been a member for 2 months, so far very little success.
      I though to try the wbtb method, any advice welcome.

      Just now I slept 5 hours and wake up on my own.
      I did a rc, went to toilet, drink water, write.this post and listen to binaural beats.

      anything else I should do ? ... been up for 15 minutes, want to go to bed now ...

      Don't get too excited like I use to do and not be able to fall back asleep. Lol
      Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

      Just keep saying to yourself "am gonna be aware when I'm dreaming" until you fall asleep, that's how It goes with me .

      WBTB is almost useless unless combined with another method. One that works pretty well is MILD, as stated by Shiznit

      I often think about these ideas during WBTB:

      I imagine how happy and excited I will be when I wake up after a lucid dream. I have confidence that it will happen in my next dream. I also know that, if it doesn't happen, it's all part of a learning experience. I will succeed. If not tonight, then the next night. Ultimately, our unconscious mind is in control. So just accept whatever the unconscious mind does with wonder and gratitude. The mind is an amazing thing and the power to dream is a gift.


      And some other activities you can do to fill the time:
      - read old entries from your own dream journal
      - read other people's dreams here on DV
      - write about a dream scenario you'd like to have
      - pick 2-3 tasks from your lucid goals and imagine yourself doing them
      I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.

      Nothing last night, although I woke up after 5 hours.....will post and try again tonight ..will aim for 6 hours of sleep.

      Keep away from Binaural Beats, its nothing but a messy noise, just stick to the known techniques after the WBTB and read your dream journal daily .

      The binaural beat I have has background noise, not just static. It works well for me for relaxation and meditation and it was only 99 cents. But I dont use it to get lucid.
      Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.
