I often think about these ideas during WBTB:

I imagine how happy and excited I will be when I wake up after a lucid dream. I have confidence that it will happen in my next dream. I also know that, if it doesn't happen, it's all part of a learning experience. I will succeed. If not tonight, then the next night. Ultimately, our unconscious mind is in control. So just accept whatever the unconscious mind does with wonder and gratitude. The mind is an amazing thing and the power to dream is a gift.


And some other activities you can do to fill the time:
- read old entries from your own dream journal
- read other people's dreams here on DV
- write about a dream scenario you'd like to have
- pick 2-3 tasks from your lucid goals and imagine yourself doing them
