      Dream control leading to lucidity

      hey
last night i had a dream i was with some friends, and we was messing with a chair that had wheels, i then got pushed and started moving along, then i used my mind to go faster. After which i thought to myself hang on, i cant do that, after that i did pinch-nose RC and discovered i was dreaming *dream scene change* and i was in my house, everything was extremely vivid. my mouth felt really dry and i tried getting saliva running to no success, afterward i woke up with a dry mouth

has anyone else used dream control to attain lucidity? second time i have reached lucidity through it

They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.

I've found myself becoming lucid after moments of dream control. I've found it helps to think of lucidity in dreams as more of a sliding scale where you can be more or less lucid rather than just an all or nothing 'you are lucid' or 'you aren't'. Having the diea that you can control the dream is right at one end of the scale, just after a regular dream. Further along you 'become lucid' but even then there are different levels. E.g. Being aware that you are in a dream and you can make yourself fly, choose what to do etc, is more lucid than regular dream control but less lucid than being aware that the entire dream is you, and really there is no seperation between your dream body, other dream characters and the entire environment.

I heard about company called Artlumino that recently has released some devices improving your dream control. There are some pages about them on Facebook and a movie about their latest product Dream Affiro on youtube.
