      Very Lazy Lucid Dreaming

I gave up being serious about LDing after a year or so of being on and off. I had a couple of spontaneous lucids, in which I would stretch my fingers and run about my house, but always awoke wondering if I really was concious at all.

Today I had 4 or 5 WILDs in a row from sheer laziness, which I believe I could repeat on any given morning where i have enough time. I just thought this might be of interest to anyone who just wants to experience one, it's not a realistic method to use if you have something of value to do wth your time.

Having gone to bed at 4 am, I awoke at 11am and, as I am now on break from college, decided to spend my first monday "morning" in long while resting up. Between 11am and 3pm (when i finally got out of bed - my real body) is when these experiences took place.
This is about 10hrs i trully spent in bed, so my body had all the essential resting out of the way. It was just a matter of lying still and, when feeling in that in between conciousness phase, focusing on trying to rub imagionary hands together. Within 10 seconds it'd be a convincing sensation and then I could use these hands to pinch my nose, breath, then climb out of bed into a dream.

Every time I woke I just lay there and did it again, it was quite a novelty to me and i would have gone on longer except my father was hounding me to get out of bed.

If anyone's interested here's some details of the dreams: Since it was day, it was very bright and nice in my room when i got up and I was breathing through a pinched nose and pushing my finger through my hand - this was quite a hassel to achieve and even hurt making me not want to push too hard for fear of hurting my real body. I checked my reflection in a mirror that shouldn't be in my room and it was not distorted or changing at all, it was just me without glasses in perfect sharp definition. After kissing the mirror I headed out in search of sex - this dominated my first few WILDs and although i wouldn't call it pleasurable, it was fun.
Luckily due to the short nature of these dreams I was able to think more logically upon waking and decided not to get too hung up on sex. Next I made it my mission to draw all over myself. Since I always started off in my room I was searching around for pens on my desk and used them to scribble on my face, although they were small biro pens and they weren't making enough impression for my liking - plus they were scratchy, so I tried to summon up marker pens by commanding them to be inside boxes before opening them, to no avail. So I then tried to really believe there was a bucket of paint on the other side of my door, again NOTHING.

So there were definate things that made me question lucidity, firstly I was worried my dad might mind when i woke up if I used up a tin of his paint in my dream, and secondly I was painting myself just to see if there would be evidence when i woke.
It was quite a distant feeling when I woke up, like it had been a different part of my brain in activity during the dreams and I was not still in control of that part of my conciousness.
I also remember reading texts to see what my mind would come up with, nothing was jumping about or hard to read (except for the fact it was so boring). Anyway, when I finally got up and went downstirs it was instantly recognisable as reality when I couldn't see a thing without my glasses.

Sounds like you had a good time my friend! This is a lot like the wake back to bed method; its very helpful in trying to project. Stick with it but try not to be "too" concerned about achieving lucidity. You've seen what a bit of lacks can do for you!
