      Help with WILD

When performing WILDs as soon as the images or dream scene in my mind starts to become "3D" or the dream starts to take shape, I realise that the dream is about to start and I snap out of it. As soon as I realise in my mind that this is turning into a dream, the images disappear and I am back to darkness and staring at the back of my eyelids.

I know I should just keep letting the dream shape itself and not concentrating too much that it is a dream, but by doing that I lose my awareness and fall asleep.

Any tips or does it just take a lot of practise?

      Thanks.

Nah, questions come up all the time in this section, your fine. I'm sorry I can't help you, I have attempted WILD about 60 times, and I have never even gotten to that point yet. Maybe you could help me lol. What is your technique?

It's just a slight bit off, but don't worry. Next time post it in the WILD sub-forum.

Anyway, I would just try to move within the forming dream to see what happens. If you move your physical body, too bad, at least you eliminated a possible solution. After that you should learn to escape the void and see what happens. You can read about some techniques in the "Dream Control and Stabilization Tutorial" article in the "DV Tutorials" section of the Wiki.

      I hope I helped.

I was very tired yesterday afternoon so I thought I will try a WILD at around 12:30 at noon. I just let my mind wander for quite a bit of time then I start to visualize and lost concentration. Then I started to concentrate on everything I could feel on my body at that time(i.e. the bed underneath me and the blanket on top) and concentrate on them pretty intensely. Then I imagine myself getting out of bed, walking to my wardrobe and putting some clothes on. Then I walked out my room but remember that it was sunny that day( lol). So I walked back in my room and grabbed a hat and walked back out. Walked downstairs and went outside my house. Then I looked at the house right in front of mines and it started to look 3D and I felt like I was actually there. Then it all disappeared.
