      Question Why cant i get lucid this way???

      Okay so heres whats been going on lately. I have these very realisitic dreams where i wake up and i think the dream happened in real life, but after going through my thoughts for a few minutes i make it clear that it was a dream. Second, and i hope someone can tell me why this happenes, but one dream i had was i noticed something strange and wondered if i was sdreaming. I tried to put my finger through my hand- didnt work, and tried to breath thru my nose with my fingers over my nostrils- didnt work. After those two failed i said "man i wish this was a dream" and carried on with watever! Did this happen cuz since i do it so often in real life (and it obviously doesnt work) that my brain knows it cant and then makes sure they dont in my dream?? PLEASE REPLY!! thanks

      When you do RC's BELIEVE that they will work. And when you do them in real life, make an effort to question reality, dont just do it to get it overwith.
      Also you should try flying if all RC's fail

      I rarely RC these days. If the thought occurs that I might be in a dream I simply jump to the top of a nearby roof, or telephone pole. Then the fun begins. Good luck with your LDs!

      Well I haven't had any problems with RC's so I would say no. But it makes sense doesn't it? :p
