Wow, I thought that everytime you go to sleep, you go through a rem period, isnt that the case? Or it might have to do with the timing, which I dont understand why. As I understand it, it takes a certain amount of time to enter REM, not the time that you are sleeping in, I think it is about 70-90 minutes after you fall asleep that you enter the REM period, that may be your problem, you only sleep for one hour. |
|
Hmm good theory, any experienced ppl on here able to back this info up please? |
|
How long do you sleep at night? If you get a good amount of sleep, your body might not need to enter REM at all. Or, it just might not happen as quickly, therefore you'll need to sleep more in order to actually enter REM. In a nutshell, yes, that's what elucid's saying, and yes, I believe that theory is correct. :3 |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

When I feel the siesta effect I take a nap and fall asleep very easily and sleep for about an hour. I rarely dream but I find it an excellent time to WILD immediately upon awakening. |
