      Is this a DEILD?

I know it's kinda silly to care about a name assignment, but I'm still curious.
      ...
I believe I achieved my first DEILD today. I essentially did a WBTB, taking a nap about one and a half or two hours after I woke up. Now, my recall for the story is a bit hazy, particularly because I stringed together about five lucid dreams with vary similar plots. I believe my first dream was lucid, but I had many similar ones and it's hard to tell whether it was. The point is I distinctly remember telling myself to stay still and not open my eyes right before I awoke---and I managed to do so as a result.

Here's where my question comes in: The transitions I felt were extremely short. I think I was awake for no more than 10 seconds at a time. I believe (although, again, my recall is hazy) that I quickly told myself my MILD mantra, envisioned the opening scene of my last dream and drifted off into lucid sleep. For each, I waited for the moment when the scene was complete, and I knew I could now levitate myself off of my bed, almost as a disconnected entity from the figure laying there. They also all started as quick FAs, although as far as I can remember I knew I was dreaming from the very beginning of each of them.

Does this sound like a maintainable method? Most things I read about DEILD seem to suggest a long process, with SP, HI, and such. My transition was ridiculously short-lived.

I didn't just imagine it all, did I?

      Thanks,
      Whitemountain

A deild, as far as i know, does not have a long transition. The one I had only lasted a few seconds aswell. Good job on stringing so many LDs together, i was only able to manage one because my body wasn't tired anymore.

Hmm, cool. Yeah, I was pretty surprised that it worked that well---now let's just hope I can repeat the process
