DCILD: Dream Character Induced Lucid Dream experience LOL

Hi to everybody! (first post here )

A few days ago I was dreaming as usual when a DC (a boy around 10 years old sitting on a table with other children, they all were looking through a window to the night sky) interrupted my conversation with another DC by saying this:

DC: No, no, this is a dream.

      Me: WTF?

DC (pointing to the window): A shooting star has just passed.

Me (looking to my hands): Whoa! --> Lucidity.

I felt as if the boy and the other children were part of some sort of "vigilance squad"... indeed, my "inconscious" did all the work for me...

Has anyone have experienced something similar?

      Thanks!

I think there's already a method about this, somewhere on DV..
CILD I think, Character Induced Lucid Dream.

Just had that happen to me the other night, but I don't really want to say it was a lucid dream. In my dream my grandmother told me that I was dreaming, and I was like "Oh, this makes sense now!" I didn't do a reality check or anything though, and the dream ended almost as soon as I figured out I was lucid.

Oh yes, this has happened to me before
I was having a nightmare (not gonna get into it now, it is really long and bizarre) and I ran from my house trying to call 911, because there was an old lady trying to kill me-I kept dialing 911 but it never would go through, it went through to my dads number and he answered, he was like "Ericka! you are dreaming! you can do whatever you want to do!!!" and I was like "NO. THIS IS REAL!" and then I hung up and the nightmare continued. I totally missed a free lucid dream, and actually this was the dream that started me getting into lucid dreaming now that I think about it, how absurd is it, an old woman trying to kill me because I don't have Hispanic batteries and all the little kids were vampires, it was a weird ass dream, I'll tell you that. I think it's cool that part of my subconscious was aware, and part wasn't.
oh and a good mantra is "a dream character will tel me I am dreaming and I will preform a reality check", it's like autosuggestion.

      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.
