This morning I woke up at 8.00am after getting 6 hours sleep. Anyway I stayed awake for a while, reading a few things about WILDs on my computer and went back to bed after (somewhere around 9.00am give or take a few minutes). I got relaxed and before long I was completely numb.

Then I started counting "1. I am dreaming...2. I am dreaming...etc" at every exhale and got to around 600. Somewhere in between my back started getting really sore which usually only happens if I sleep like 14 hours but I kept on going. I was in transition for i'd say about 30mins until eventually I gave up.

After I was done I looked at my phone and it was 10.20am!! 80 minutes and still nothing. Well, I think its safe to say WBTB doesnt work for me . I thought you were supposed to go directly into REM sleep with WBTB.

Does anyone have any pointers or know if I had stayed conscious 10 more minutes would I have entered REM?
