      Is it even possible to have LDs on a weekly basis?

      My LD count is once every few months to none and it's been 6 years already doing this full-time. They were abit more frequent in early years but later dropped. So is it possible for non-lucid people like me to have that many LDs on weekly basis? I think it's the way my mind functions it's not been in-tuned with reality since my mother passed in 2007 end and any attempt to revolve around the idea of dreaming causes the mind to auto shut off into negativity...... What tech have you used and Y do you think it has worked for you?...Thanks....

      I had 4 days with lucids last week, and 2 days in a row so far this week. I have ~2-4 lucids on days that I am successful. Anybody can frequently have lucid dreams it just depends on how dedicated you are and how much work you are willing to put into it. It has taken me over 8 months of practice to get where I am now. I use WILDs, and I think it works because it is the technique I have tried from the beginning and had success with first.

      Anything is possible.. ...its how active and creative your mind and sub-conscious is.
      And I did not use any techniques to lucid. Wow, you're from Singapore too, hardly found any.

      It is very possible to turn every non-rem dream into a lucid dream. I still use the Novadreamer (version 1) and I experience luciddreams around 90% of the time with it. It's not hard - get plenty of sleep, reality test every day (every hour), eat healthy - go Vegan. The diet aspect is essential in my experience and I have found a correlation between people who eat a diet high in processed crap and polluted meat products and the inability to dream lucidly. My move to a Vegan diet was the best thing for attaining lucidity - it frees up the digestive system and the body can focus on what it needs to do to attain the lucid state. Cut out junk from your diet - drink good quality water (not bottled water) - give your brain (the creator of your lucid dream world) clean and quality fuel....then it's easy...

      Yeah its extremely possible. I typically have 5 lucid dreams a week using MILD and DEILD.

      Although my LD count has gone down to about 2 a week and only one this week

      I havent been working on it so hard lately though.

      I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

      I find that I have a succession of lucid dreams a couple of times every week.

      get plenty of sleep, reality test every day (every hour), eat healthy - go Vegan. The diet aspect is essential in my experience and I have found a correlation between people who eat a diet high in processed crap and polluted meat products and the inability to dream lucidly. ^^ Really this is not my experience at all, I often have extended periods of lucid dreaming after nights of binge drinking and red meat eating. I probably drank shit water as well.

      ^^ I agree with that, I think the processed food hurting makes sense, but I don't see how a pseudo healthy diet such as veganism would be of any aid.

      to be honest, I would have to say, if you have been doing lucid dreaming the six years and had no results, that you must be doing something wrong or aren't dedicated enough. When I first started lucid dreaming I used the DILD/MILD technique as everyone told me it was easier. However, after a little while I tried the WILD technique and had great success that had to do a lot of work in to get to that level. On an average week I haveroughly 4 or five lucid's. I think the reason why WILD works better for me than the prospective memory techniques is that I enjoy the process a lot more and therefore don't get bored and stick with. I think you should try different techniques to find the one which suits you best and then master that one, shouldn't take you longer than a week to figure out which technique is best for you. After that you can start having more regular LD's but you do have to be motivated.
      Dreaming Is Anybodys Game But Being Lucid...Now Thats Earned
      All hail the Lucid Dreaming Bible 'Exploring the world of Lucid dreaming'

      WILDs= 150+
      DILD= 50+
      WBTB+WILD= 100

      Total LD's: 300+

      Well, my mom died in 2006, so I know how you feel... she was suffering for 5 years, though, so I think it was time for her to go... so I accepted it... but anyways, YES! of course it is possible to have LDs on a weekly basis! some lucky people can have them almost every night, but anyways, the best thing you can do for yourself as far as lucid dreaming attempts go is to become fully aware of your environment and what you are doing during real life, get involved and involve your mind in things! A healthy mind does better LDing than an inactive, unhealthy one! Sure, the techniques are also important, but without awareness they can only do so much for you. Also, like said before, you are probably doing something wrong if you have been unsuccessful for 6 years, probably depression and like you said, your mom died... just try to stop associating dreaming with sadness! I don't know how, but you need to find a way to do it.

      I have been lucid dreaming for decades and I think it is quite hard to have lucid dreams consistently unless one has a very sheltered and uneventful life. I have had many LD's in a week and I have gone a month (or even twp) without one LD. The only thing I can say about the 'Nova Dreamer' referenced above is that it had (I no longer use it as it broke and I tossed it) a tendency to alter my dreams and/or to wake me up. Could it occasionally help me go lucid?... yes. Did it work consistently?... no. I think of lucid dreaming as a rollercoaster ride... something thrilling and life-affirming but also an event that should remain somewhat occasional and occur in its own time. Every now and then is just fine with me.

      Or else is Hard? ...Really OO?
      Why would you say so and know thats the real case?

      I get lucids almost every day now. I'm not really even dedicated to it. It doesn't matter if you have "very sheltered and uneventful life" or not.

      The one and only thing that you have to do that is the key to lucid dreaming every night is setting your intent on it.
      I can't really explain intent through language. Although in one of the Carlos Castaneda books there is a good example.
      It's "Wishing without really wishing, wanting without wanting." I don't reality check, I don't intentionally eat peanut butter or bananas anymore or take any supplements, or use auto suggestion, although I get alot of lucids. I wish I could truly explain how I do it, but all I can say is intent.

      Haiz..and it seems like my mind can create Another World with some situations that combines my life in it to form my dreams. Like it is purposely constructed for me to participate.

      I don't see any reason why you can't have LDs every night, just focus on what you need to do to become more consistent.

      Maybe you should try new methods to see if it sparks a change! Six years is a lot of time. You should have a least a few a month, if not more! It is completely possible to have multiple lucids a week. You just have to stick with it and learn what works for you and what doesn't. Trial and error. If you don't try anything new and only stick to the same few methods, RC's etc. Then your luck might not be as high. -Chase
