Well when your dreaming, the logic center of your brain turns off. (From what I have read). This is why it's hard to recognize things like a giant horse chasing you. I'm going to test something out but maybe you can help me. What I was thinking is that if you can train yourself to wake yourself up in every dream you have, you can turn that into instead of waking yourself up, you reality check. I was thinking this because you will have to have a little bit of awareness to be able to wake yourself up in a dream and if you can train yourself to wake yourself up during a dream, you may start to become more aware that your dreaming in every dream you have before you actually wake your self up. And before you start to wake yourself up, you will start to think things like, "I need to wake myself up. Wait I'm dreaming!" This is why I think people who have frequent nightmares tend to have more lucid dreams. The wake themselves up to the point that the know there dreaming. |
