I don't understand. You don't realize that you are within a dream after you successfully DEILD? During a DEILD, you never lose consciousness. If the problem is you think you have failed, then you should perform a RC to see if you actually failed. |

No, that's the thing i don't successfully DEILD. I would be lucid if i was to have DEILD'd successfully. What i'm trying to say is that when i wake up from having tried to DEILD i realize i was unsuccessful however when i recall my last dream, it has always been me in my room. I think i may be having false awakenings however it doesn't feel like a false awakening. Its something weird and this is the best i can explain it. Its like I'm in the dream but am on the borderline of dream/reality. i am thinking consciously but i'm in a dream not lucid?? LOL ill be amazed if someone could actually understand what I'm saying and if someone has experienced such a thing. |

Yeah like Yoshi said, do an RC after the attempt. It sounds like you were definitely having a false awakening, it can feel really weird and all that, but just remember to do an RC. I have had times where I would get out of bed and turn on the light thinking about what I did wrong, before realizing I was actually dreaming. The whole "seeing through your eyelids" illusion can be kind of trippy. Always RC after everything. |
