      For some reason i can't have WILD's

Well i have been lucid dreaming now for over 2 months and have tried wilding since i begun. When i first started trying to wild i had good results and felt that weird falling feeling and saw a lot of hi and that kind of stuff but now when i try it nothing happens and my body just becomes extrememly numb and it is hard for me to move. what am i doing wrong?

I can relate to this. When I first started meditating, for example, I used to experience the falling effect quite a bit (this is going back some time). Now I can't re-call the last time I experienced that.

Um, you shouldn't move much during a WILD? And if WILD isn't working, you can always try DILD.

Yeah, there was a period where all I tried to do was WILD and it was pretty crazy. It NEVER worked for me because I never really was doing it at the right time but I got weird sensations. Onetime it felt like I was spinning in a different direction of where my body was and that meant I was somewhat close. The problem was that when that happened, it felt so strange that I giggled and the sensation went away and it was over. It took me a while to realize practicing reality checks is much easier than learning how to do a WILD. I still try sometimes to WILD just to help me fall asleep

What I would do is experiment as much as possible with WILD. Try sleeping different amounts of time and staying awake longer or shorter. WILDs are easy to attain for some but hard for others. Just find what works for you.

Yeah man, as others have said, WILD is not for everyone. I tried it for about 5 months and it failed... hard. I now switched my focus to MILD/DILD, and I'm happy I did that.

      -Good luck.

I couldn't get WILD working for weeks, I tried during the night and during naps. Nothing ever, ever happened to me. I've given up many times, but I've always tried the day later again.
All I had in my mind was 'What if this time I get it to work? What if I can achieve a lucid dream again?' - Indeed one day I've got my first sleep paralysis results.
I'm still trying to get a full WILD to work, but I'm failing though I'm continuing with my attempts. Don't give up and make sure you aren't trying too hard.

thats pretty funny, the falling feeling is also kind of like a spinning feeling.

i have started doing reality checks a lot more but one thing i read about milds that you should try is make up something like everytime you see a hot girl or go through a door or see a flower you will ask yourself am i dreaming? the reason why you ask yourself am i dreaming is because if you do a reality check it might not make you lucid because when weird things are happening in your dreams you think its normal so if you can breathe while holding your nose it will seem normal. the best reality check is feel the clothes on your body see what you can smell fell your muscles or aches and pains in your arms or whatever i just started today and i think it will work really good if you want the whole guide go to this page. wait lol wow you are the one who posted that article well thanks a LOT wow i am a dumbass you already know btw how has that method worked for you? PS thanks a lot for the tut

Rofl, I'm just now getting into MILD's. Ive had around 10 of them so far, but I'm just now getting serious about LDing and the technique in itself. I predict in the near future MILD giving me around 3-4 a week. I also practice everything needed for DILDs.

One thing I make a note to every new LDer is DEILDS. A lot of people try DEILDs after normal dreams, which is very hard, but, after a lucid dream, it gets easier. Essentially, I want to be able to have a MILD sometime in the night, then use DEILD to chain myself a few more.

One question are you trying to WILD during the nights or the days because im sure i heard somewhere that its almost impossible to have one during the day.
